Yin yoga is a therapeutic yoga practice which benefits the bones, joints, muscles, fascia, and the nervous system. It derives its knowledge from the Hatha yoga and Chinese medicine traditions and is the closest to the most ancient descriptions of yoga. This course is for all mind-body practitioners and anyone interested in discovering or deepening their Yin yoga practice. Certification will be conducted on the final day and you will get Yin yoga teacher diploma issued by the RYS200 5 Elements - International School of Yoga and Movement. The course will provide you 30h from a Yoga Alliance Continued Education Provider.
5 Elements - International School of Yoga and Movement offers basic accommodation located in the same house as the studio. You will stay in a shared room in the studio in a residential area eight minutes by tramway from the historic old town of Krakow, which boasts historical and cultural attractions, as well as a wide range of bars, cafes and restaurants.
Group classes are a great way to keep your practice regular and share your experience with others. But if you want to deepen your practice in a particular type of asana, pranayama, meditation, or learn about anatomy, physiology or the history of yoga, workshops, and courses will help you take your practice to the next level.
Yin yoga is suitable for practitioners of all levels, from fitness freaks to bedridden patients and it can benefit all these populations. It can improve the following conditions:
The Yin / Restorative yoga teacher diploma is a 30-hour complementary course suitable for yoga teachers, fitness and Pilates instructors, physiotherapists, mind-body therapists, etc.
30 hours certification in Yin yoga - level 1: 27 contact hours with Lead trainers (E-RYTs) including 21 hours of supervised practice, two hours of philosophy, two hours or anatomy, and two hours of teaching methodology.
The workshops and courses are conducted in very small groups, maximum of eight people.
Szymon, E-RYT500 certified, believes that in order to discover your true nature, you should practice yoga in a way that is aligned with your personality and needs. With a Ph.D. in Life Sciences and a Psychotherapy study, he balances physical and subtle aspects of yoga with modern scientific knowledge. He will guide you on that journey, whether you like a dynamic practice which detoxes your body and mind or prefer to inhabit each posture for longer and achieve meditative stillness. He studied in India with teachers from various traditions for six years and before that, practiced for 14 years.
Vinay, E-RYT500 certified, is an experienced yoga teacher with over 10,000 instruction hours. He teaches Hatha yoga, Vinyasa flow (Power), Ashtanga, Vinyasa, AcroYoga, and Yin. His teaching style is often called as natural and playful, as he grew up in India practicing yoga from early childhood. Whether you are a spiritual seeker or a fitness enthusiast, he strongly believes that yoga is for everyone. He is on a mission to help people refresh and rejuvenate their bodies, relax their minds, connect with their breath, and communicate with their soul. He is a certified vegan chef.
This Yin yoga teacher training will be held in 5 elements - International School of Yoga and Movement, Krakow, Poland.
Food is not included in the price. Students can eat out, order food or use the kitchen.
The evenings are free time and the participants can discover the marvels of the historic city of Krakow, located just eight minutes away by public transport.
The nearest airport is John Paul II International Airport Krakow-Balice (KRK).
